British Concrete completed a range of concrete bridge repair works including breaking away damaged concrete, sandblasting, treating reinforcement, patching with epoxy mortar and epoxy injection to cracks
Construction of greenfield prison in the Hunter. This job required the installation of over 19,000m2 of slab on ground and suspended concrete slabs completed in a short timeframe for Corrective Services with Lend Lease as the head contractor.
British Concrete completed both concrete bridge repairs and waterproofing to railway bridge. Works including waterproofing the top of the bridge structure, underbridge scaffolding, and treating cracks and damaged areas to the underside of the bridge by scabbling, installing epoxy mortars and epoxy injection grouting. Works were completed during one possession weekend and non-possession shifts.
Construction of platforms 1 & 2 involving demolition and reconstruction of platforms over 6 week end possessions and non-possession shifts. The works involved the demolition and removing of the existing platform and construction of new platforms using precast culverts, concrete panels, Form-Reo-Pour construction and asphaltic concrete.
Removal and replacement of damaged platform coping and replacing with a new coping using CTS material (rapid set cement product). Works also include reinstating tactile indicators and line marking. These works are completed over a possession weekend.
British Concrete has worked closely with ADCO construction on the refurbishment of Roselands Shopping centre bringing the oldest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere into 2019. Works have included: New concrete foundations, column encasements, and suspended concrete slabs, slab on ground slabs including subgrade preparation works, suspended lift pits, travellator and lift pits, dock levellers, kerbing and concrete topping slabs for both ALDI and Woolworths trading floors, concrete cool room wearing slabs, and concrete slab and column repairs.
Repair of concrete cancer to the railway bridge pylons. Works include breaking away damaged concrete, sandblasting, treating reinforcement, patching with epoxy mortar and epoxy injection to cracks.
British Concrete completed the concrete joint repairs at both Bondi Junction and Edgecliff Bus interchanges while in operation. The work involved saw cutting damaged joints, filling joints with various epoxy and joint fillers, recutting and joint sealing. The works at Bondi were completed at night due to the high traffic during the day. Edgecliff works were carried out during the day. Both jobs were staged to meet the operation requirements of the sites.
Construction of warehouse complete including footings, pedestals, warehouse floor, truck handstands and carpark.

Concrete topping works within the project included new concrete topping slabs for both ALDI and Woolworths trading floors, cool room wearing slabs for Liquor land and Woolworths using silicon carbide surface hardener and repairing existing concrete floors to provide a level concrete finish for tenancies and mall areas.
